Busy, busy, busy...

Hey guys!

So the past few months have been nothing but hectic! Like I am exhausted from all of the work that I have been given lately!

  • I.C.T Coursework!

  • Health and Social Care Coursework!

  • Psychology Revision!

All of them bringing different challenges along with them. Beautiful.

Also, at my sixth form college we were selling red noses for red nose day and me and my friend Tanya decided that with one of our frees we were going to try and sell some for the school. So we went to the main office of the school and collected two boxes of red noses and two buckets to collect the money.

Going around school, we tried to sell as many red noses as we could because we felt like people at our school don't really try and give to charity enough apart from having to pay a pound for mufty days. Usually the school can make about £50 in one day from selling red noses. After lunch, we went back to the main office so that we could give the red noses back in and give the money in. We counted up all of the money and we had made a total of £147.61!!!! Like holy shit that is a lot of money to make in 2 hours from selling red noses for a pound! We were so proud of ourselves!

Blank Space

Hi guys!

So recently I've been trying my hardest to come up with a new post for you guys but my mind has been blank! Like I literally could not think of anything to write about! Sucks big time!

Then the other day whilst I was on my way home I though to myself "Hmm, why don't I write a post about not being able to write a post!"

I know, I know, crappy idea and you guys might just hate this post and think 'Oh my gosh why are her posts so boring!' and 'What was the point of me even clicking on this blog, it's a load of rubbish!'

Before you leave and click that search bar up there to search for your favourite blog that is 10x's better than this one let me explain the point of this post.

This post is to let you guys know about things that have happened to me recently that I feel needs to be highlighted for you guys.

1. So, first and foremost! Suits Season 5 has started in America! If you are from America, omg you're super lucky! Over here we are just getting Suits Season 4 on Dave which of course is great but I have already watched season 4 (I'm still watching it though because it still rules) so my friend got me the first episode of season 5 (I know naughty, but I just can't help myself! It's Suits!) and omg it was freaking AMAZING! That's all I'm saying on that matter.

2. I am being noticed more. Okay so in life I have always been that girl in the shadows who people know but don't necessarily talk to apart from my personal friendship group but recently I've made an effort to speak to new people and become that girl that everybody knows and they actually don't mind talking to. And it worked! Not only have I made more friends, I have had the attention from some new guys as well ;),

3. I took my mock exams a couple of weeks back for my AS Level. Now I treated these exams like GCSE and I didn't really think about what kind of questions may come up and because of that I completely failed them! I can't stress to you guys how different going from GCSE to A Level is! It is nowhere near the same kind of workload, you have to work 10xs harder than GCSE and you have to stick to deadlines! For me I feel like part of the problem was that I went to my secondary's schools sixth form, I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to your schools sixth form because it may be a brilliant sixth form, all I'm saying is that you need to be aware of how different A Levels are from GCSE's.

So there you are, three things that I think you should remember:
1.Watch Suits.
2.Don;t be afraid to speak up and make new friends.
3.Don't treat A Levels like GCSE's!

Thanks for reading!

Stuff that makes me angry

Hi guys!

So today I'm feeling a little angry at society. Like I've seen so many things today that makes me want to scream "WHY?!"

1. Depressing Violinists. Yeah, because sad string music is what I want to hear whilst I'm casually strolling down the highstreet... So I'll explain why I have chosen this as number one, today me and my bestest friend were walking through town heading towards the Library to study (we're so good like that), then all of a sudden I start to hear bloody sad music being played by a busker on the side of the street - I'll give it to him, he's more talented than me, I can't even play a triangle let alone a violin - I don't mind the fact that he is using his talent to earn himself some money but if you are going to play the violin on the side of the highstreet making people listen to it you could at least play a more cheerful tune.

2. Ignorant people. As I said, I was going to the Library with my friend to study. Now when we get the Library, not only is it packed, but the spaces available are being taken by those ignorant bloody people that decide they need two tables for all of their stuff! WHY?! Have you never heard of piling it up or organising it?! Like come on! And then, when you finally find a table and you sit down, you find the people behind you sharing smelly ham on toast. Again, WHY?! Oh and the put the cherry on the cake, people cant turn their phones on silent nowadays! WHY?! Is there something wrong with your phone?! Lastly, why do people feel the need to make us listen to the phlegm clearing in their throat through their nose! Like you cant just give a little cough? No, you have to snort it up through your nose and create this horrible sound for all to hear! WHY?!

3. Common sense. So this is the part where I get angry at people for not having an ounce of common sense within their body. Today was a rainy day, bit cold and wet, and I see a person standing at the bus stop wearing bloody beach shorts! WHY?! Are you not feeling the cold? Are you Elsa from FROZEN or something and 'the cold never bothered you anyway' because there's me freezing my ass off in 100 layers and then there's you standing there as if you are going to the beach! WHY?!

These are simply my opinion on what really annoys me in society, there are many more but I really don't wish to bore you so I will be going now.

New Year Resolutions!

Hi guys!
It's 2015! A new year and a chance to do something great! It is that time of the year where you start thinking about your new years resolutions.
I have a few this year, some major, some not so major.
1. Do more exercise such as Yoga. Okay, so lately I've been feeling a little bit too lazy. There's a line when it comes to how lazy a teenage girl should be and I've overstepped it... This year I've made it my mission to do more yoga to make myself more flexible and healthier.
2. Be more giving. I'm a very selfish person. Cue the objections........okay then... In all seriousness we are all selfish up to a certain extent and we don't take into consideration all of the people in the world who aren't as lucky as we are. I mean obviously we aren't rolling in money or anything like that but whatever we can give, we should.  Even something as small as 20p could help someone. If you are unsure about giving money away to a random stranger in the street, there are many churches that have charity events for the homeless and you could do something as simple as giving away your time for people and volunteering to help out.
3. Forget about those bad people. Okay, everyone has those people in their lives that they really don't need, so simply ignore them. Harder than it sounds but it is possible. If there's someone that's upsetting you in any way, just ignore them and get on with your life. Yep, that's all I have to say on that matter.

Hello...

Hi guys and welcome to my corner of the internet.

For years I've tried to keep a diary of some sort but I'm actually terrible writing in it because my handwriting is appalling! I literally cant be bothered. I'm quite lazy, I have to admit. One day, when I was having a down day, I though 'why don't I start my own blog?' From that day on, AverageChlo was born. Dun dun duhh! Tada!

Now, you may ask 'why call yourself AverageChlo?' Well, I got the idea from the saying 'I'm not your average Joe'. I like this unique name because it shows I don't think that I'm significantly better or worse than anyone else. I'm just your AverageChlo, nothing more, nothing less. Well, you can just assume that from what I am writing!

I'm not completely sure about where I am going with this blog but where ever it is, it will be completely honest and hopefully it will help you out if you're in the same situation.

Please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below, I'd love to hear them. Until the next time!
